You might notice something unusual in the intent-003 folder: a results.md file sitting outside the run folders. That's not a mistake; it's Trail working exactly as designed.

When I first wrote intent-003, the intent was bad. It was underspecified, ambiguous, and unresolvable. Trail didn't guess or hallucinate a path forward. It failed, told me exactly what was wrong, and produced a results.md documenting the failure. I read it, fixed the intent, ran it again, and it worked.

That's the point. Trail is designed to fail loudly on unresolved ambiguity rather than silently produce the wrong thing. That results.md sitting in the intent folder isn't proof of something going wrong, it's evidence that the system doing its job.
